Department of Zoology organises a group discussion on the topic : "Effects of microplastic on marine life and its impact on the food chain". The discussion was chaired by Biswajit Kumar Sahoo IQAC coordinator of Derabis College. He highlights the importance of group discussion in building communication skills among the students. Miss Bhagyalaxmi Sahoo, HOD Department of Zoology informed students about the harmful effects of microplastic on the marine ecosystem. Miss Subhashree Behera and Miss Pragyan paramita Pattnaik, lecturer in zoology also shared their views on the deadly effect of microplastic on the food chain.
