GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

Derabis College, Derabis Kendrapara opened a Grievance Redressal Cell to look into the complaints lodge by any students, teaching staffs and non-teaching staffs for smooth running of the institution. The cell aims to develop a responsible and receptive attitude among all the members so that a peaceful educational environment is maintained in the college. A grievance Redressal Box is installed for all the members and students for collection grievance regarding any academic and non-academic matter.

OBJECTIVES

• Grievance Redressal Cell is actively work for addressed effectively the issues of Students, teaching and non-teaching staffs
• A three light layer grievance Cell is in place to solve any academic and non-academic issues as prescribed by the Govt. of Odisha.
• Zero tolerance for Ragging and sexual harassment.
• Rigorously followed the norms laid down by the Government regarding ragging and sexual harassment.
• All students are abiding to follow the rules and regulations of the college.
• The college recognizes the right of a student to dissent and to fight for the legitimate rights of students.
• The College is strictly followed the term of No Alcoholic Zone No Smoking Zone.
• The use of Drugs /tobacco/alcohol shall be subject to severe punishment.
• Cyber bullying will be strongly punished.
• The college campus is under CCTV surveillance, any crime/misbehaviour disclosed in it is punishable.
• Any student detected in any incriminating situation both within inside and outside the campus shall be reprimanded and counselled.
