Minority Cell of Derabis College, Derabish was established with the aim of empowering the minority communities. The primary purpose of the college is to provide opportunities to the minority community to meet their educational and cultural needs in both academic and          non-academic area.

OBJECTIVES

1. To provide equal opportunities to access educational benefits to minority students.
2. To facilitate financial support to students from minority communities from both government and non-government agencies.
3. To aware minority communities regarding various schemes and scholarships applicable for them.

FUNCTIONS

1. To circulate State Government and UGC’s decisions about different scholarship and Welfare programs.
2. To aware students and motivate them for better future planning.
3. The Cell is committed to provide assistance to the minority students through counselling, personality development, and development of communication skill which will help them in future.
