                                        INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE CELL

 

Internal Complaint Committee Cell of Derabis College, Derabish aims to sensitize the students and staffs to work effectively to prevent sexual harassment in the college. Complaints of sexual harassment shall be lodged to the Committee and appropriate disciplinary action is initiated by the members in accordance to the rules and regulations of the college.

 

OBJECTIVES

1. To develop guidelines and norms for policies against sexual harassment.
2. To evolve a mechanism for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment cases and other acts of gender-based violence in the institution.
3. To provide an environment free of gender-based discrimination.
4. To ensure equal access of all facilities and participation in activities of the College.
5. To promote a social and psychological environment that will raise awareness about sexual harassment in its various forms.

 

FUNCTIONS

1. To prevent sexual harassment at workplace.
2. To prevent discrimination and sexual harassment against girls by promoting gender equality among students and employees.
3. To conduct periodical programmes on women empowerment.
